HEADSHOT FAQs
1. What types of headshots do you offer?
We offer studio and natural light headshots for professionals, creatives, actors, and entrepreneurs. These can be clean and corporate, or more relaxed and expressive — depending on your needs. We also do new model sessions designed for those who are getting into modeling. These would include several different looks, from headshots to 1/3 body to full body. We can do in-studio and also outdoor environmental looks with a goal of providing several different styles and personalities. Additionally modeling comp cards can be created and printed just for you.
2. How long is the headshot session?
Most headshot sessions run about 30 minutes, depending on the package you select. Make sure to ask about our branding sessions! Branding sessions are more extensive and often include different locations, they are very customized just for you.
3. What should I wear?
Bring 2–3 outfit options. Stick with solid colors, minimal patterns, and clothes that fit well. Avoid logos or anything too distracting unless it's part of your brand.
4. Can I change outfits during the session?
Yes — outfit changes are included. The number depends on your session length, but typically 1–3 looks are doable.
5. Do you provide hair and makeup services?
Yes. Hair and makeup can be added to your session for an additional fee, and we work with trusted HMUAs who know what looks best on camera.
6. Where does the session take place?
Sessions are held at our studio in Fort Collins, or on-location if that better fits your brand. We’ll go over location options when you book.
7. How do I book a session?
You can book by contacting Bob directly via email or phone. The process is simple and fast and takes into consideration your availability and timeline.
8. When will I get my photos?
You’ll receive a proof gallery within 2–3 business days. Once you select your favorites, final retouched images are delivered within 5–7 business days.
9. How many images will I receive?
Each package includes a set number of fully retouched images. Typically, 5-10 images are delivered in both color and black and white – Bob often over delivers on his headshots! You can always purchase extras if you need more.
10. Do you retouch the photos?
Yes. Every final image includes professional retouching — skin cleanup, stray hairs, blemishes, teeth, etc. You’ll still look like you, just on your best day.
11. What if I hate being in front of the camera?
Totally normal. I’ll walk you through posing and expressions, so you feel confident — no stiff, awkward shots here.
12. Can you match a specific style or background?
Absolutely. Just send a reference image or let me know what you’re after. We can shoot on classic seamless backdrops or environmental settings. We can created any sort of background for you so just ask!
13. What’s your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
Life happens. Cancellations can happen and rescheduling is easy, and I’ll work with you to find a new time if something comes up.
14. Do you offer group or team headshots?
Yes. I photograph teams, staff, and full offices — either at your location or in-studio. Custom pricing available. Also consider a team headshot party.
Need an entire team's headshots? Consider an in-studio or on-location party. This is a unique opportunity to engage your team in a fun, team building experience and receive some BOMB headshots as well. Picture drinks, appetizers, charcuterie, music... it's a great way to get those headshots and build team camaraderie. Plus - discounted pricing for a group is a BONUS! Groups of ten or more start at $75 a person with no hidden fees. Your team member will receive 2-5 edits in color and black and white!
