Photography Classes with Bob Younger

Off Camera Flash Workshop! Learn the secret sauce of dramatic lighting. Join Bob Younger in this hands-on four hour course in Old Town Fort Collins and Horsetooth Reservoir you work through lighting models using off camera flash and ambient light. Discover how to create images that are compelling and that will set you apart from your competition. You and up to 4 other students will meet at Bob's studio in Old Town Fort Collins at 3:30 pm. After introductions Bob will discuss the basics of lighting models and then move quickly into the alleys and surrounding areas of Old Town while working one on one with each student to learn the settings needed to bring your images to life. After 2 hours in Old Town we will eat dinner at a local restaurant and then head to Horsetooth for sunset. The shoot will end after sunset. 2 models and 1 assistant will be there to insure an amazing shoot to add to your profile. $225. *Notes - this class will require some hiking at Horsetooth. Students should have a DSLR, Bob will provide lighting. Dinner is not included. A minimum of 4 students each day will be needed to run the class.

Bob’s classes are designed around the individual members of the group with an emphasis on experiential learning. With small group sizes, in-depth instruction and hands-on learning, Bob is able to explain the simple to the complex in a manner that is laid back and very enjoyable.
Several classes are available including a basic course for new owners of DSLR cameras, advanced off-camera flash and post-processing using Lightroom and Photoshop. As classes are announced they will be posted here so keep checking back
